Welcome to our Service Families
At Lyneham Primary School, service families are at the heart of our community. In fact, approximately 65% of our children are from service families. With strong links to MOD Lyneham, we understand the unique experiences that come with Armed Forces life - including postings, mobility, periods of separation and deployment.
We are experienced in supporting children who join us at different points in the school year, ensuring a smooth transition through buddy systems, careful assessment and strong communication with parents. Our pastoral care, combined with a well-sequenced curriculum, helps provide stability, continuity and a strong sense of belonging so that every child can feel confident, settled and ready to achieve.
