Notification of Deployment
We recognise that for families with parents or carers serving in the Armed Forces, deployment can be a challenging and emotional time for both children and adults.
If you receive notice of a family member going away on an upcoming deployment, we encourage you to inform the school as soon as you feel able to do so. This allows us to provide appropriate support for your child and ensure staff are aware of any potential changes in wellbeing, behaviour, or emotional needs.
All information shared with the school will be treated sensitively and confidentially. We can offer additional pastoral support, check-ins, or adjustments in school where needed, and will work closely with families to ensure each child feels safe, supported, and understood.
